• 304 Stainless steel construction

• Split tube style housing

o Trough form, 7 gauge

o End plates, 5/16” thick

o 1/4” thick RH flighting

o 2/3 pitch on inlet, balance to be full pitch flighting

o 1-1/4” Schedule 40 pipe for main shafting

Finish Details

• Product contact surface finish, uniform #2B finish (minimum 120 grit)

• Exterior stainless steel surfaces to be uniform 80 grit

• Product contact welds are continuous, ground and polished to 120 grit, blended, no pits, cracks or crevices – TIG weld where possible for smooth sanitary finish

• Continuous weld on both sides of flighting

• Non-product contact welds are continuous, ground and polished to 80 grit, blended, no pits, cracks or crevices – TIG weld where possible for smooth sanitary finish

• Hydraulic jack to be painted with one primer coat and one top coat (Steel-It)

Standard Design Features

• Covers on trough:  Gasketed (food grade neoprene foam), hinged and fastened into place with stainless steel toggle clamps with one (1) 120 VAC magnetic limit switch

• 4” pipe stub discharge

• Discharge end plate to be bolted and sealed with food grade RTV

• Inlet end plate to be welded

• 1 cubic foot nominal conical hopper, removable, connected with bolted sanitary quick clamp fitting

• Stainless steel portable base with 6” food grade white nylon casters (two swivel and two fixed)

• Hydraulic jack for angle adjustment

• One tri-clamp cleanout at base of conveyor with gasket, bolted sanitary clamp and cap

Optional Components Included

• Rotating mechanical shaft seal on inlet to provide protection against shaft wear that can occur with packing gland seals.  Seals mounted to end plate and sealed with RTV
